Of the 460 markets we track across Kalshi, Polymarket and Limitless, the one carrying the most money is "Will the U.S. invade Iran before 2027?" on Polymarket. It has drawn $74,790,407 in volume and trades at 15¢, with 72 days left before it closes. Among the five highest-volume markets, it is the only one priced above 1¢.
The other four are longshots by any reading. Jesus Christ returning before 2027, LeBron James winning the 2028 presidency, and Oprah Winfrey or Bernie Sanders taking the 2028 Democratic nomination all sit at 1¢, yet each has drawn more than $52 million. That volume more likely reflects traders parking capital on the "No" side, or long-dated markets accumulating churn over their 749 days of life.
The Iran contract is different, and that is why it deserves attention. A 15¢ price implies a real, if modest, probability on a question with genuine geopolitical stakes, and it resolves in 72 days rather than 749. Heavy volume on a contract with a near deadline and a non-trivial price is where a market is actually doing work, and where repricing can happen fast.
