Iran Invasion Market Holds the Most Money, Priced at 16 Cents

The largest pool of money on our board today sits on "Will the U.S. invade Iran before 2027?" on Polymarket, with $74,051,141 traded. The price is 16¢, meaning traders collectively assign roughly a one-in-six chance to an outcome that would reshape the year. The market closes in 78 days.

What stands out is the company it keeps. The next four markets by volume are all longshots priced at 1¢ or 2¢: Jesus Christ returning before 2027, LeBron James winning the 2028 presidential election, and Oprah Winfrey or Bernie Sanders taking the 2028 Democratic nomination. Each has drawn more than $52 million, yet none trades above 2¢. That volume reflects cheap tickets and long holding periods; the three 2028 markets have 755 days left to run.

This contrast matters for anyone reading these boards as a signal. Among the five highest-volume markets, the Iran contract is the only one priced above 2¢, so it is the one where new information can visibly move the number. With 78 days remaining, news will hit it fast. A 16¢ contract can double on a single headline; a 1¢ contract mostly sits still.

Watch whether the Iran market holds at 16¢ or drifts as its 78-day window shrinks.
